We had a very nice couple staying on the site this week, they were a little late due to the MOT station, who had trouble sorting the Headlight Alignment, it took way longer than it should of they said!
Why’s that we asked? they had trouble with the adjusters, lets have a look! My God! what a mess… who ever worked on this has little or no experience with this vehicle, they had broken 3 out of the 4 adjusters, removed 3 of them, this left gaping holes with cold air rushing in around your feet when driving, then they went on to bend the mountings to get the adjustment fine tuned, inserting extra packing washers where necessary, to top it off they even lost all the original screws so they where replaced with under sized ones. All in all a total mess!
Whatever Camper, Motorhome or for that matter Caravan you own, always check to see if the garage in question, has the knowledge before they start, it annoys the hell out of me when, bodge it and scarper, tamper with things they don’t understand!
